Job Description

The primary role of Business Analyst will include analyzing and documenting all Finance requirements for new project or modifications to existing system/process, liaise with IT developers to communicate those requirements, plan/coordinate all user testing, coordinate implementation/migration as necessary and communicate (written and verbally) to senior management on project status throughout the project lifecycle.

Primary responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Interview clients in order to understand and document business requirements of new project, or review existing documentation to assess accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Document detailed functional requirements including “as is” and “future” process flows covering all functionality to satisfy business requirements
  • Analysis of systems should include identification of functionality gaps in system and/or process
  • Liaise with IT to clarify functional specifications or to answer any questions as necessary
  • Formulate project plans including requirements gathering, testing and implementation
  • Develop testing plans and administer completion of plans as necessary
  • Develop project implementation and/or migration plans across functional areas as necessary
  • Manage deliverables by agreeing dates and reporting progress to senior management
  • Identify project issues and close through resolution
  • Contribute to process re-engineering and process improvement where applicable
  • User training and documentation expertise

Required Technical skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems, networks, system interaction, UI navigation, database management and production support
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of information technology and data manipulation tools (Excel, Access, SQL, PPT, Word, pdf, etc)
  • Initiative to identity opportunities to streamline business processes by leveraging technology solutions to improve financial controls and audit requirements.
  • Solid experience working with a variety of system support activities
  • Web technology experience is a plus (.Net, XML, XSLT, etc.)

Job Description

The IT Project Manager will oversee plans and schedules for websites/applications/development, and will help identify and implement project management policies and lead multiple small and large web application development projects from conceptualization to launch. The project manager will also perform project leadership functions, including defining the project’s objectives, retrieving scopes of work from business analysts for each phase of the project, overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle, acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan, including back-end operations and hosted servers solutions.

Primary responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Project management, including coordination of communications, project statuses, day-to-day issue resolution and improvements across multiple work streams.
  • Coordinator for Legal negotiations and research, contracts and state filings – including process documentation, diagrams and user flows.
  • Release management for web applications, including work plans, test plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans.
  • Partner with various internal and external resources to ensure understanding, buy-in and completion of work.
  • Conduct brainstorming and working sessions on business solutions / concepts
  • Business requirements gathering and documentation.
  • User Acceptance Testing coordination and execution.
  • Contribute to changing team responsibilities and priorities.

Required Technical skills:
